Pros

They initially came across as professional and courteous, but that quickly changed when they abruptly cut off communication, leaving their contractors in the dark.

Cons

Disorganized, inconsistent, and undervaluing design at every turn. They brought me on claiming to have plenty of work, only to provide scattered assignments with no guaranteed hours. Unlike my other contract clients, who operate seamlessly, they treat contractors like employees—requiring full setup in their tools—without offering stability or clarity. They claim to allocate hours per project but expect designers to determine them, likely because they have no idea themselves. They severely undervalue design, allotting minimal time for execution, which reflects in the poor quality of their work. No amount of SEO can save a website that looks terrible. If you respect yourself as a designer—or even just as a person—stay far away. They are unreliable, flip-flop on commitments, and fail to follow through on their word. Their founder personally ghosted me mid-project discussion, a level of unprofessionalism that speaks volumes. And if you’re skeptical, just know they’ve wiped their bad reviews—especially the ones from when they fired everyone during COVID and pivoted to their so-called “innovative” contract model. They pay poorly, mislead their hires, and lack basic respect for creative professionals. Run, don’t walk.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While we regret that this engagement didn’t meet your expectations, we want to clarify a few important points. Blennd works with a variety of talented contractors and creative professionals across disciplines. We are transparent from the outset about project-based work, scope expectations, and tool access requirements—particularly because we prioritize seamless team collaboration and quality assurance for our clients. Contractor roles are not full-time positions, and hours may vary depending on project fit, availability, and performance. In this case, we made the difficult decision to take over the project due to quality concerns and a misalignment in execution. While we always aim to provide constructive feedback and maintain open communication, we recognize that parting ways mid-project can be disappointing. However, this decision was made to uphold our high-quality design standards and deliver results to our clients. We continually invest in improving our internal processes and team experience, and we remain grateful to the many contractors who continue to partner with us successfully.

Pros

"recruiters" are very skilled at conning/fraudulent activity.

Cons

I was told it was a remote position and online flexibility, few hours a day. I was "reviewing products" on a platform, "purchasing" said item, 10 at a time for 3 sessions (total 30 products). I was then scammed to add money to my "account platform" in order to earn more commission at increasing levels. I was scammed out of a lot of money and then when trying to withdraw said commission, told I was not able to withdraw the amount and had to add money for a fee to withdraw. Supposedly "my money" (commission) is still sitting in the platform. No manager able to help escalate for me. I was totally conned I am sorry to say.
