Pros

Freedom to create own course/curriculum. Fun working with children K1 to K5, interesting subjects to teach like Robotics/Game Design/Programming/Drone/VR Digital Story Telling/Photography/Videography. Good mission statement to inspire, empower and transform children with 21st century skills such as creativity, design thinking, collaboration, teamwork, problem solving, public speaking, communication, resilience, etc.

Cons

Micromanagers, no budget for school supplies or employee training, no respect for employee's personal property, no investment in employee's ergonomics or career growth; frequent pay check delays, frequent payroll errors; no vision; no growth potential; no benefits.

Pros

Flexible hours. Tight knit group of colleagues. Easy work environment with flexibility. Snacks, coffee, espresso and water provided. Yay for this job.

Cons

Far away from where I live. Most conversations take place in Chinese, and I don't speak Chinese so it's hard to get a sense of what the general conversation is around the office. But I really don't mind that much, and I'm actually starting to pick up some Chinese. Good place to work if you want to work on your Chinese language skills.
