Pros

So sad about BikeBandit. It used to be a great place when the founder was running the company. Management was fair and issues were discussed with the entire staff. Decisions and company performance was shared so the employees knew how the company was doing.

Cons

The current management of the company is horrible. The people who bought the company from the founder tried to run it for a while, but they failed badly. Many key people left the company and sales fell. A year ago they “sold” the company to another company and things have gotten even worse. Apparently the sale was not a real sale and the company that bought it in 2015 still owns it and the new company still owes them a lot of money. Current management does not know anything about online retailing, They also don’t know anything about management or leadership. Sales continue to drop and good people continue to leave / get fired. The morale is extremely low. It is really sad to see a company that was once a market leader and a great place to work continue to decline.

Pros

I started here over 11 years ago in the warehouse. From there I advanced to an inside office job doing customer service. Did that for a few years and further advanced to the sales floor. Bikebandit.com gives all of its employees opportunities for growth. Open door policy makes it very easy to speak with management. We have fun Fridays for the last Friday of the month, usually consists of games and lunch. Company sponsors events that all are welcome to join

Cons

The business can slow down a bit during winter times. Insurance could be cheaper

Pros

*I have to say this place has had the best work environment. You go and do what you are hired to do and management won't give you grief if you do your job well. If you are lacking in some area they will tell you and coach you through it. Everything is based on performance and numbers so if you thrive in that environment then you well do well here. * Great benefits like health insurance after 3 months/ dental and vision. Life insurance too. Occasional catered employee lunches or BBQs. * This company is very family friendly. They understand if you need to take some time off for a family event etc as long as you tell them with notice. *The CEO is on site and holds an open door policy so you can talk to him anytime and he is very approachable. * Dress code is casual and you can even wear a hat to the office :)

Cons

* This business tends to have its highs and lows in sales because it is a seasonal type business. You need to really try to rack up your numbers during the low seasons or else you will be the one to go when its time to do some cutbacks which tends to be normal here during the low season. Everything is based on numbers here.
