Pros

Used to have a good social aspect, casual dress code and free pizza on Fridays, colleagues always happy to help when you need it.

Cons

Management don't listen to staff feedback. Benefits should be better, more flexible about working from home (only got 2 days a week wfh, not a coincidence that everyone is leaving for fully remote jobs). Promotions are given based on length of time at the company so there isn't much opportunity for progression as a newer member of the team. Don't get any sick pay. The only extra benefits we got after giving this feedback was a commission scheme but this is only like £7-£15 a month usually. Targets set by management don't seem to take into account targets other teams have been set, main focus is on growing the sales team which results in signing more clients that are unlikely to perform well on the system which can cause a lot of stress for the delivery team since there is a lot of pressure to retain clients. And this has resulted in a very increased workload. Lots of Data Analysts have left but management won't hire more which just increases everyone's workload further with no additional salary or benefits to compensate, made worse by management saying they have the budget, just won't use it. Management is very male dominated also, they don't try to do anything about this. It can be a bit too relaxed a culture at times, particularly on the CS side management tries to treat employees as friends, not always a bad thing but results in a less professional / at times inappropriate culture. In particular the treatment of female employees vs male is notably different. Any feedback given about the behaviour of managers doesn't result in any changes. There's no actual HR department, just an external helpline. Results in no real solutions if you have issues with coworkers, often will get brushed off by management as "personality differences" rather than addressing the actual problem.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. We have been through a period of rapid growth, and are aware that at times that places a particularly high workload on the delivery team. Matching the pace of recruitment to company growth is not easy. We are aiming to make Bidnamic a great place to work, and I read with concern your comments regarding culture and inequality. We do have a process for raising concerns of this nature, which is detailed in the employee handbook. Unfortunately it appears that you didn't feel able to do this before you left, which might have given us the opportunity to take action and ensure that we make Bidnamic a better company for everyone.
