The products itself are great, and they have a real impact on the lives of teachers, students, and parents. You'll be able to take pride in creating a fantastic product.

Cons

- This is essentially a vanity company for the owner, who refuses to listen to his staff. That often results in poor decision making and fires that never needed to ignite in the first place. - Dysfunctional management and leadership stemming directly from the CEO, who is also the owner - For such a small company, the environment is cutthroat - High turnover as the salaries are very low, especially for the area - No real career development - No HR processes, which means that you can be exploited as much as the owner deems fit

Pros

1. Colleagues are helpful, always willing to answer your questions, help you acquire new skills, and give you a hand when you are inundated with works. 2. Executives and managers are intelligent, efficient, and foresighted, from whom you can always learn a lot. 3. Nice location, very pretty office, great coffee machine, and a bunch of snacks.

Cons

1. You have to be a self initiator. Comprehensive training may not be something you can expect from here, so you have to catch up yourself and the learning curve can be very sharp. 2. Due to the size of the company, you have to shoulder multiple responsibilities, which means that you have the opportunities to try various things, but in the meanwhile, you may not have the time to go deep into and hone different skill sets because of the time and budget constraint.

Pros

There are a lot of people at the company with big heart. The company is located in the center of Silicon Valley. You have the opportunity to work closely with other teams.

Cons

Extremely unprofessional among C-level executive also managers. Company tend to hire fresh graduate who needs working visa sponsorship. Since there are number of visa quota each year, either people gets fired, laid off or leave the company due to visa situation. Turnover in the company is extremely high. The most talented people who have either voluntarily left the company or have been let go due to "having too strong of a personality". Managers tends to play mind game and does not give constructive feedback to their team. The work life balance between different departments are very different.
