Pros
The paid time off , vacation time, and insurance.
Cons
This place was AWFUL to work for. The lack of organization and corruption within the upper administration was ridiculous. I had problems from day one. I was provided with no training on my position, the students were ALWAYS in the right if a complaint was made, and they ruled with fear tactics. They did everything wrong when it comes to obtaining and keeping good employees. The stress of working at this place is not worth the few dollars you are paid. You will come in with bright ideas and excitement but it quickly gets squashed as you realize the upper administration will not give you any funds to execute these "awesome programs" they often ask you to do. The morale of those at the college is very low and the student population has such a drastic range of people, many of which should never have been let in. The upper administration is very good for playing the blame game when often it is their poor management skills and lack of fiscal knowledge that are driving this college into the ground. I am an avid supporter of our HBCUs, but this college has got to do better if they truly want Dr. Bethune's legacy to live on. At the rate they're currently going this college will not last another 50 years.
