As said, the 'match' of business domain versus people is a big mismatch. So it the culture. Non-fits are on big roles who are eager to showcase their non-sense ideas to top to keep self safe. For example, the HR dummies are funny; sometime back in background they misaligned all titles leaving highly experience people like 20+ yrs experience equivalent to some one 2-3 years exp. This is LOL, as slaves are bound to write good as if they are competing for the same 'show-case' culture. Pity on the cheap show going now-a-days.
