1. It is a good place for not so technical people but equally bad for Techie or Engineers. Some non-technical managers holding the higher verticals (in Kolkata office) because they joined early in this organization. Quite often discouragements towards the Engineers are observed from their end. There is a fear of recruiting eligible Engineers from good colleges and companies, let alone IITans. So, if you want to grow professionally Bentley is not the right company for you because of this segment of management.
2. Bentley is still a market leader, only because our users become use to our product. They already have better option(s) but they need time to learn another system. Don't take this for granted because we will lose them in a long run if we don’t propose something new, something innovative. How to retain our users? read my suggestion number - 1 in “Advice to Management”.
3. HR - I can write whole paragraph but I will mention only one point. HR must listen to all employee. HR don’t even reply to our mails, managers are always exception.
