Pros
It is nice to work here when you get breaks as scheduled, the machine runs well, and you work with others that treat you well. However, this only happens half the time. The pay is above average, benefits are above average, and you do receive some free giveaways from the company now and then. There is a certain level of freedom that you enjoy, because of the nature of the business. You can choose to work more in a particular area if you handle it right with your supervisor.
Cons
Everything here changes from day to day. The communication is poor often, partly because of the work itself. The work can be grueling. Even if you like the work, many get angry with their supervisor way of doing things. It is difficult to maintain a work life balance, because of the overtime required on short notice. Many of the older employees find it difficult to make sense of new procedures that are implemented. The filling machines rarely performs as expected, making more work for the operators. You lose vacation days when you are sick, even with a doctor's note. The sick and vacation days are lumped together as paid time off.
