Pros

You can be yourself, pay is decent, co-workers are all down to earth and kind, ability to move up if you want to, truly stick to the values system that they tout highly!

Cons

Even if you work outside of the shop, you can go home smelling like rubber? TBH, really...GlassDoor requires a minimum here. I don't have many, if any, complaints about working here.

Pros

Pay is slightly higher than average.

Cons

My experience at this small location was extremely disappointing due to the lack of effective management. The office Operations Manager rarely made an appearance in the shop, leaving crucial oversight sorely lacking. The Shop Manager, who admitted to still being in the learning phase of management, did little to rectify this gap. Despite the Shop Foreman's extensive tenure with the company, his effectiveness was marred by a personal grudge with the company, which led to subpar training practices. As a result, new hires often found themselves ill-prepared and forced to redo tasks due to inadequate instruction. Furthermore, the behavior of the shift lead was concerning. Instead of fostering a productive work environment, they engaged in deceptive practices to increase their own overtime, such as deliberately withholding training from temporary workers and limiting access to necessary tools. Additionally, they permitted their team to waste time gossiping and using their phones excessively, while simultaneously enforcing strict consequences for the same behavior from temps. This created an illusion of productivity while allowing orders to pile up unchecked. The absence of clear leadership beyond these individuals contributed to a chaotic atmosphere in the workplace. The outdated machinery and overall incompetence of management only added to the challenges faced by employees. It was disheartening to find oneself constantly questioning basic work procedures and expectations, with little guidance or consistency provided. Ultimately, the uncertainty surrounding work pace, phone usage, and break times made it difficult to gauge performance and meet expectations. Employees often found themselves blindsided by sudden terminations, perpetuating a cycle of confusion and turnover. In conclusion, while a job is a job, the disorganization and lack of support at this establishment make it an unappealing and unsustainable workplace.
