Pros
Beckhoff is a special place to work thanks to the company's strategy as it relates to product development and the people here, both new and long-term. It all works because the company's senior leadership has a steadfast commitment to making decisions based on long-term outcomes rather than short-term returns.
The US is a different market than Germany, but the leaders and team keep the spirit of this culture alive and the people here have a positive work experience unique from any other company in the industry.
Beckhoff is a special place to work, mainly because of how the company approaches product development and the kind of people it attracts—both new folks and those who’ve been around a long time. What really sets it apart is that senior leadership consistently makes decisions with the long term in mind, not just short-term wins. As a result, people tend to stick around; I see other companies in our space with much higher turnover, layoffs, etc. Thankfully not the case here.
The U.S. market isn’t the same as Germany, but the team here does a great job keeping the culture alive. It makes for a genuinely positive work experience that stands out from anything else in the industry.
Cons
The differences in market conditions between the US and Germany sometimes creates alignment challenges, but leadership is clearly working to improve that.
