Pros
The Size - Not a big corp and certainly not a start-up. A business that is always open to new ideas, where you can implement new initiatives quickly (versus other larger insurers)
The Culture - 1) A Family Feel, collaborative culture 2) An empowerment culture that allows you to work flexibly and be yourself 3) Good, transparent communication from the Senior Leadership Team, who are always approachable
Career Progression - A culture that promotes internal progression. There is so much growth/change across our functions and roles available. It's down to you as an individual to drive your own career (which doesn't suit everyone)
Diversity & Inclusion - whilst not perfect, the business is doing what it can to improve its D&I and a number of groups you can join such as Race @ Beazley, Beazley Proud & Beazley SHE
Working Flexibility - No obligation to go into the office, you're empowered to work as you see fit, as long as you deliver
Cons
As mentioned above, there is no set 'career progression path' across some of our functions. You have all the learning/constructive feedback tools available for you to develop yourself, but very much down to you to drive your own path.
