A very employee based company.

There were not any downsides.

Fast-paced manufacturing start-up with solid growth plans - vinyl flooring products are "HGTV worthy" and in high demand. Plant 1 is in production and adding staff while plant 2 breaks grown in fall 2016. Global HQ in Belgium is investing smartly with the long term in mind. Great employees in plant and office, very high energy and mostly positive. Benefits mostly good, and comp has tried to keep pace, management has listened and raised a few salaries to meet the market, though not the top local wage they're not near the bottom.

Start up plant operations very stressful, new machines not running well yet (though the lines in Belgium and other European countries are smooth). Lots of Belgian input from their people onsite here in management, sometimes slower to understand the American ways and methods but they are learning as operations grow. Sometimes the pace is really hard on key people, and original Belgian plans for staffing may need to expand to balance the workload in some areas.
