Pros
Attractive new facility, nice people, business casual (for now), good amenities, bonus, good compensation, GREAT benefits. The work is interesting. Training courses in-house are offered. Opportunity to work with people from around the world. Company commitment to developing, rather than buying pipeline. Decent job security for this industry.
Cons
Increasing corporate atmosphere since moving to the new facility. Despite "open concept" office, collegiality and team orientation are waning as a result of changing corporate culture and drawn-out reorganizations, replaced by jockeying for position, backstabbing, and scapegoating. Company gives lip service to employee development but does not promote from within; instead seeks outside people for management positions. "Analysis paralysis" is often present. Workload often not distributed equitably. "Family-friendly" philosophy seems to only apply to workers with children. Remote work opportunities available only to certain employees.
