Pros
The benefits were fairly good. Frequent 50% off discounts (due to declining store business; hoping employee purchases could make up for some sales) and three weeks vacation time.
Cons
Throughout my time at BNY, I had good times and I had bad times. Ultimately, even through the trials and negative parts, I walked away having learned some important lessons. Because I was lied to regarding my raise and promotion, I honestly cannot recommend this company to a friend. I was strung along for months for a raise and promotion and was doing the promoted work for almost nine months. I had to do the work and was told the promotion would be official come March during the review period, which did not happen. When I finally spoke with the correct people regarding this ordeal, I was given my promotion months later but denied a raise. I regret not getting it in writing.
