I'll give you a glimpse into the incentive program they enacted during one of our weekly sales meetings. The president wanted to motivate the sales force so he went to Build-A-Bear and created a couple custom bears. Both represented the owner of a major competitor, PMSI. Additionally, the owner's last name of PMSI is, Bear. Now, the incentive was whoever sold $10K or "stole" a job away from this competitor was awarded the bear to display on his/her desk for the day.

Oh no! It's unfortunate to read online that you felt fearful to express your frustrations while working here. Thank you for expressing them on Glassdoor. Getting real feedback is the only way to improve. Since management has changed and we are responding late to this review, it's hard to reference the atmosphere you are describing. Further, we pride ourselves in having an open door policy for employees - whether it's with human resources or direct supervisors. And yes, we have been known to do some out-of-the-ordinary stuff in the past to have fun in the sales department. Reading this now, it does sound a bit silly. But creativity and fun is still a big part of our culture here. We believe if you are going to spend 8 hours a day somewhere, it should at least be enjoyable.

Pros

Great team of people who enjoy what they do. Great opportunities to land large projects and cultivate large accounts. Upper management is always willing to help coach and train to enhance sales. I enjoyed my time working there and would do it again.

Cons

Small company, very competitive market, so you have to work hard and be extremely focused to get results.

Thanks for your review! It's very kind of you to share how enjoyable it was working alongside our team members. The culture is only as good as the people you work with each day. And our team is very focused not only on goals and growth but also on cooperating together to improve our services daily. And yes, we are in a very competitive market that makes the job have the right amount of challenge to stay interesting and push individuals to continually learn more about our industry. Part of our strategy is to hire account managers who add value, not just individually but overall to the team. This business requires a lot of product knowledge so we all lean heavily on each other's experiences to improve our service level to customers. Overall, we want every client to feel like they've had a 5-star experience and that includes how management treats their co-workers.
