Some people you work with are great and have made good friendships out of the role.
Cons
Management plays very obvious favourites to those who can suck up to them the most, and they reap all the benefits. You can smash every KPI and be great at your job but if you're buddies with management and are incompetent in such a basic customer service job you'll get favoured every time.
