Micromanagement. Playing favorites. When COVID hit, the long term employers had to stick around. The newer employes were furload and paid. We had to pick up the slack and was short staffed in a very busy medical office, with or with out patients in the office. They took little to know care about personal family issues when coming to schools closings.
