Cons
Large company, although leadership and executive management have the best intentions, they don't understand how detrimental a bad manager or weak link in an individual department can be in regards to performance productivity and employee tenure. Department head managers have low accountability as far as how happy their individual employees are with their career and purpose. The company puts more stock in the skills of their managers and that crucial role, than in their ability to lead their own departments. It takes forever to get hired, and just as long to get fired.
