Pros
- Jewish holidays observed (extra days off even if you’re not religious) - Some of the employees here are amazing people and made work fun everyday - A lot of wonderful tenants in most of the buildings
Cons
- CEO and other employees are Jewish and the cons to this are kosher food at all company events (always the same, bland food). Must observe Jewish holidays relating to food meaning you can’t prepare non kosher foods in the office on certain days. And don’t even THINK about using the kosher microwave, even if you’re 100% certain what you’re heating up is kosher…because god forbid if it isn’t! I’ve seen multiple different people yelled at about this about microwaving kosher foods.. - Another con to working for a Jewish company is that you can’t celebrate non-Jewish holidays. No Christmas trees in the lobby, no Halloween decorations, no Easter events. We had a Muslim tenant denied access to a conference room because they wanted to celebrate a Muslim holiday and invite the building to join. - The only thing the CEO cares about is Apogee. That’s it. Don’t expect to do whatever your job title actually is. Your real job, regardless of department, is to live, breath, and sell “Apogee”. - Senior management demands feedback and then does absolutely nothing with it. They are very stuck in their ways. If what you’re proposing doesn’t “fit the brand”, forget about it. No room for creativity here. - You’ll deal with a handful of tenants that are difficult and demanding. Everything from stalking you and knocking on your door 10x a day to get what they what, to absolute radio silence and they never come into the building and you can’t get anything you need from them.
