Pros
Relaxed atmosphere, casual dress and mostly quiet. Departments get close and can have good relationships with the small size.
Cons
Not much room to grow within your department. If you want to move up you might have to to go another office that has an opening. Hire family members constantly which ends up showing favoritism and protection.
