One benefit of public accounting is working in different project teams to allow a variety of judgments and evaluations to form a composite view for each individual, hopefully neutralizing any unconscious bias. If you do see a project or experience you would like to have, certainly volunteer and ask your career advisor to advocate for you to be placed on challenging growth assignments.
