Pros

Pay is $15/hour. You must be 21-25 years old to work as a checker. You drive around to various restaurants, gas stations, grocery and convenience stores to perform compliance checks. Specific and easy to follow instructions and procedures are given for each location you go to. You can set your own schedule. Great way to earn extra cash or supplement your income.

Cons

Checkers can only work a location for 1-2 months with 1-2 month breaks in between. Number of rounds a month vary. Gas used during your rounds are not rembursed making the use of a fuel efficient vehicle a must. Rounds( list of locations) must be completed in order, after 12:00PM the same day in order to account for the hours worked. Written directions are given, although the use of a GPS will help during your travels. Distance of rounds can exceed 100 miles, so cost of gas, your vehicles MPG & hours worked must be considered before deciding if it's worth it for you. Example: I worked 4.5 hours, made $67.50, traveled 100 miles with a 24MPG vehicle, used 4.16 gallons at $2.99/gal. Leaving me at about $55. That's $12.22 an hour!... before taxes. =D
