6yWe appreciate your feedback and are disappointed to hear about your experience. Many of your comments are at odds with the findings of our annual, independently conducted employee survey. In the most recent survey from earlier this year, an overwhelming majority of Axos team members gave high marks when asked about the working relationship with their managers and their satisfaction at work.
We offer a competitive compensation package that consists of a base salary and discretionary, performance-based bonuses paid out twice a year. You’re correct that our bonuses are typically given in the form of cash and stock grants, usually a 50-50 split. The stock grant is on a 3-year vesting schedule where 1/3 is earned each year. Rewarding employee performance with shares in a company and requiring a vesting period for those shares are fairly common practices in the business world. At Axos, these stock grants reinforce the idea that we all are owners of the company and have a vested interest in its success.
