Pros

It's an interesting industry to work in that has a clear impact on the world. Most employees are friendly and helpful. Lots of internal promotions and room for career growth.

Cons

Management in the software side of the business is mostly former Amazon managers and Amazon's culture came with them. There's lots of talk of wanting employees to have work life balance, but there's a constant push to do more with less which means there is always too much work lots of burn out. It's very common to hear phrases straight from Amazon's handbook like Disagree and Commit, Bias for Action, Customer Obsession, and Dive Deep when in a meeting with managers. ZBB is talked about constantly and your team's performance is measured against that. Employee's are stack ranked at review time. If you like Amazon's culture, you will feel at home at Axon. If you're like me and you didn't enjoy Amazon, you should stay away.

Pros

Good pay and benefits Flexible PTO RSU's

Cons

Company morale is low. The other recent reviews stating this are extremely accurate. Company culture has eroded and the company values don't seem to matter anymore. 'Winning Right' has become lip service. Senior leadership refuses to address the problems many departments are having with headcount and workload. They don't really care about the customer experience. RTO makes no sense when most of your team remains remote in the same role, a role in which you spend much of the time on calls with customers and meeting with other team members virtually. Not enough staff to support the RMS customer base and ticket counts have ballooned.
