Senior leadership consistently makes poorly thought through decisions and really seems to be flying by the seat of the pants. The VPs are all very inexperienced having only ever worked for Avitus for most of their professional careers and this lack of experience surfaces on a regular basis. Very much a fear-based culture - dare to speak up and challenge the status quo, or make any attempt to deliver radical candor will put you in a negative light. It's a very traditional, top down style leadership structure that doesn't welcome progressive thinking, and is not interested making any changes that could stem the tide of clients leaving for competitors. Poor decisions are frequently made (willingly gave up CPEO and ESAC certifications) and money is spent foolishly in many non-nonsensical ways. Responsibilities that are incentive-based are misaligned and unattainable, which completely negates the opportunity for employees to earn a bonus.
