Pros
There truly aren't any reasons to work for Avid.
Cons
If you tried to recruit less qualified, less capable, more ignorant and arrogant managers, you wouldn't be able to find them because they all work for Avid. Considering the niche market as well as the very immature industry, you'd would think a company would focus building a strong company as opposed to paying homage to the status quo. Not the case. Of 110 employees, more than 33 people hold the title of director or above. There is no organization or structure. If you suggest a more efficient manner of doing things, don't think it'll be heard, or even considered. They are completely unprepared for what they face in the future, and will compensate any increased workload on management by forcing lower level employees to work more hours. The work environment is the most chaotic, stressful, and demeaning place I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.
