Pros
Working in the travel industry poses a huge benefit if your desire is to take travel cheap while working the industry. On the other hand, Avianca is known within the Latin American countries, since it is one of the biggest airlines there are in this region.
Cons
Avianca´s leaders are creating a new company whose core values are ignoring the cultural importance of the brand. I feel that their leadership are too focused on results and the employees are not being taken care of as humans, but as results providers.
