Pros
Working for Avasta was an extremely positive experience. Not only is the entire full time team full of bright and intelligent people but, they are also non-judgemental and a helpful resource for every co-op student at the company. Working at Avasta exposed me to a multitude of different facets and gave me an opportunity to take initiative and lead certain deliverables. My role at Avasta was consistently enriched as I was brought on to a variety of projects and the entire organization does a great job at listening and implementing any feedback you provide. I would definitely encourage anyone who has the opportunity to join this team to do so!
Cons
There are very few things I can draw on that Avasta doesn't do well but, as a small company, expect to be helping shape the future of the organization. Some documentation you would find in large corporations may not exist or be implemented at Avasta (yet!) but, you should use that as an opportunity to contribute to the growth of this firm!
