Pros

Around average pay. (Only slightly below average) A major company looks good on a resume.

Cons

Will threaten termination to "motivate" employees. We were asked to work between 5-10 hours off the clock a week for the first 3months. This was only stopped when multiple employees went over Avanade's head contacting Microsoft making them aware of the illegal activity Avanade was involved in while working on their project. Avanade lies and exaggerates to keep employees around and then in a heart beat screws over a large number of employees to send jobs overseas after promising job stability once project contract was renewed. Up until a week before mass roll offs all agents were told our contracts were about to be extended.

One of our core values at Avanade is acting with integrity and respect – which I take very seriously. We have clear policies around tracking and recording time, as well as a process for investigating employee complaints reported through leadership, HR or our Ethics & Compliance hotline. If you would like to discuss your experience, please reach out to me directly at jeyan.jeevaratnam@avanade.com

Pros

A really nice office with perks and company culture that come from Accenture.

Cons

There is a prioritization with getting certifications and doing a lot of tasks outside of full time client work, just to get promoted. If you are in the bench and it’s a slow season, there is a high risk of getting laid off. You will lose your sense of purpose all for the trendy AI culture. The company thrives on buzz terms and marketing solutions rather than actually solving anything.
