Pros

Awesome product, really great people internally and AA crew. People work hard and have buy in for company success. Excellent benefits, casual culture. There is a lot of pride here, with 100 people kicking butt in the market. Acquisition had growing pains that are mostly done now (Yes, Skype for Business is terrible). Engineers are innovating, design thinking is built into company DNA and the visual teams + marketing, supply chain, sales work hard and play well with each other. Gen 4 lock (Titan) is awesome

Cons

Although company culture is great, the hard push to subscription businesses + launch multiple flagship products simultaneously spreads people thin. More candor is needed. There is still some underlying politics in some teams - make sure to ask about team history More certainty and clarity about 1-2 year vision with clear metrics and $$ would go a long way Small teams, not necessarily a con but manager could make / break your experience

Pros

August used to be great. We had great teams, great benefits, and great products. A lot more people were excited to work. August used to be fun and you felt like leadership actually cared.

Cons

Fortune killed the culture at August. The company is a shell of what it once was. Everyone who cared about this place is gone and everyone left is desperately trying to scrape by.
