Sharing my experience at Attentive.ai, recently the culture has become toxic in engineering team, with each person pushing too hard and the hire and fire strategy. Recently there was a message by EM who wrote it was mandatory to work on weekend without even discussing it with teammates, also working on weekends seems like a new norm at the organization and there is no point of comp offs, as that particular manager keeps pinging on weekends and on leave days.
