Pros
- Team - Tight hiring procedures mean that you are surrounded by an incredibly intelligent and personable team - Culture - deliberately and effectively construct culture leads to a fabulous work environment - Leadership - fantastic leadership the entire way up the hierarchical chain - Transparency - Flexible work hours - Location - Systems and processes - fantastic systems and processes in place through JIRA, Slack, Confluence etc
Cons
- Pay is inordinately low proportionate to the level of talent Atomi hires - This is not compensated by equity or options. Management is extremely tight in this regard - But this seems to pay off because most junior employees don’t seem to mind. I would likely do the same in management’s shoes
