Pros
The operations personnel are some of the best people in the business, they are professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, truly care about what we do, and are good at their jobs. The benefits are good overall, and having a company vehicle is a positive benefit. I learned a lot at this company and had the opportunity to meet great like minded people who take a lot of pride in what they do.
Cons
The culture is one sided. Pay grades 5+ are held to a completely different standard than field personnel. The company spends millions of dollars in training only to have management undermine your skills and treat you like you have no idea about what you're doing. Unfortunately the ones criticizing you truly don't have a clue about the job because they either have never been in your position before or got moved up because they place better or 'fit in' with management. The company doesn't backfill positions and therefore the employees that are still around are over worked, underpaid, and often work without breaks. The favoritism is unmistakable within operations with supervision. If you are not from Texas, it's clear that to management you are a second class employee.
