Cons
The worst company i've ever worked for to date due to micro-management style, poor company culture, and overall lack of embrace of individual unique contributions. Office looks and feels like a jail with no windows, dirty carpets, outdated scraps for technology, and unpleasant smell throughout. Gossip is passed around like highschool amongst C-suite and middle management and is then passed down to individual contributors/non-peaople leaders. No flexibility with hybrid schedule, although the role was promoted as such. You're expected to work more than 8 hours with no additional pay. Leadership pushes the company values like a cult ritual to be memorized by all. Instead of encouraging conversations amongst teams to emphasize the values and overall company culture, employees are tested with a pass/fail in front of the entire department and forced to "test out" until passed. The employee demographic is pleasantly diverse, however leadership doesn't embrace this and instead spews racist rhetoric for others to hear, both in casual off-the-cuff conversation and blatant disrespect. If project deadlines are unmet/at risk of not being met, leadership will yell and curse at you in a patronizing and humiliating fashion for others to see and hear. I've brought the many instances to HR for attention and resolution however I was gaslit and told that "maybe they were just joking". The racist rhetoric, disrespect, yelling, and cursing continued. Going to work at this company each days physically makes me sick and has taken a great toll on my mental health. Pressured by leadership to leave 5 star reviews to encourage more business and recruit more workers... assumably how the "great place to work" award was obtained.
