Pros
- The company's size allows for close collaboration between departments - Recent additions to the company (CEO, etc) have helped shape direction - New initiatives are well-thought out, but also are implemented speedily - Vibe from top down is friendly, exec team leads by example in this regard - Knowledge that the software itself serves a wonderful purpose and helps many - Quarterly 'state of the union' meetings that also include time for socializing and fun activities - Catered lunch once-a-week - Feels like being part of a company on the rise, but established enough to feel secure -Human Resources feel as though they are representing / attuned to the staff, not just the company - Every single staff member is given the opportunity to voice questions, ideas and concerns, both anonymously and publicly -Definite room to grow, career-wise.
Cons
- Minor growing pains with the addition of many new staff members, but this is also acknowledged - Size and culture can make 'making friends' difficult at time - people are friendly and it isn't cliquey, but can be difficult for staff to have the opportunity to find their tribe, so to speak.
