Pros

1. Full-Time Job with benefits and 401k. 2. Great place to start your IT Career and getting you foot in the door. 3. Freely included IT Training and Certification Class Materials via Udemy and Coursera.

Cons

1. Poor communication between contracting company, ByteDance. Aura of secrecy and mistrust due to ByteDance being a Chinese company and Astreya being an American company 2. No long term plan to move into a Full-Time position after contract ends. 3. No training or guidance on what to do from management. 4. Employees are treated like third-class citizens. Examples: Wellness Days were taken away from new employees, you have to work there for more than 2 years to get sick leave. Thankfully we were grandfathered by this new policy, still stinks for new employees though. Also no Christmas or Summer Bonus, only Amazon/eCommerce gift cards. 5. Remote Work only on Weekends and Holidays 6. Bare Minimum Pay Rate and Benefits

Pros

If you are at the start of your IT career and have never seen or touched network equipment. This is the right place for you.

Cons

If you have 5+ years of IT experience and a college degree with computer certificates, you will be bored. If you are the type of person that wants to stay settled and wanting to be home, stay away. The fact that you will be having to pay up front $500 to $1000 on any travel expenses like food, rental car, gas, uber to and from the airport. This job is not for you. Within 1 month, I was able to figure out how to be alot more efficient on doing these audits and the migration projects, but was quickly shutdown by the typical India mentallity. I would say stay away from the company as India does NOT know how to plan correctly or even how to troubleshoot. Why are companies promoting India
