The smooth onboarding process from the moment I started quickly acclimated me to the company culture, allowing me to effectively focus my time on clients. My colleagues continue to serve as outstanding resources and I appreciate the opportunities to discuss ideas, new strategies and problem-solve with them. Association Acumen is a company that encourages continuing education and consistently challenges us to look beyond our comfort zone. Employees at all levels can pursue new technologies or attend courses/webinars in their respective fields. Whatever is learned is presented back to interested employees in the form of an AcumenEd course. This cycle of learning creates a team-building environment. The leadership at Association Acumen also understands that our outside interests and talents are what makes us unique, exciting individuals. While we are in a deadline-driven industry and everyone works hard to meet their goals, we are also given the time needed to recharge and enjoy life. I have worked for Association Acumen and its CEO for a long time. Every year, I have been given new opportunities to pursue – working on a variety of challenging and fun projects for new or existing clients, developing programs from the ground up and working with different client leaders and teams. The CEO has a savvy knack of knowing what you like to do and excel at and she gives you plenty of chances to shine and grow, both personally and professionally. She accommodates flexible schedules and provides you with an array of professional development and educational opportunities – both internal and external— that help you advance your career and knowledge base year after year. I have learned so much about professionalism and teamwork from the CEO and the Acumen team. The collegial atmosphere is great. We celebrate personal and professional milestones and successes with fun outings and team events, making you feel valued and part of a strong team. Anyone looking for a challenging position with tons of variety working with great and talented people would enjoy it too. I’m grateful to have found Association Acumen.
