Cons
IT Management was lacking trust in their staff to allow personal growth and proper transparency, which showed favoritism to other teams. IT Management struggled to determine whether the tidbit training from the time spent was practical during these limited training schedules, and there was no time to allow for the limited knowledge transfer to be absorbed. There is a lack of transparency on implementation processes for the environment, with little IT Policy written to follow, making the job a challenge. IT Management was stretched too thin, and there was a lack of focus on the entire environment. This was due to too much emphasis on internal Development of the Lending platform versus Infrastructure policies, which led to efforts being focused on putting out fires on an ad hoc basis. There is also a lack of Lending Leadership. Professionals within the current organization, which limits growth in Lending teams, should have multiple perspectives from outside leadership teams to compare processes from other organizations.
