* Fantastic coworkers - everyone there cared about improving archives and really wanted to be there * No office politics - everyone got along and worked well together * Flexible about hours and vacations, definitely understood the "life" part of work-life balance, never pushed to work overtime to make deadlines * Small team, so lots of influence over the design of the software and opportunities to work with many parts of the tech stack (front end, back end, UI design, etc) * Willing to hire and teach junior devs / devs with non-traditional backgrounds * Care about improving, regularly made process changes to try to address problems * Transparent about income and expenses * Open source
