Pros
The work is challenging but not impossible. It takes a while to get trained but once you’re trained you can feel fulfilled and enjoy the job.
Cons
The culture in this company is terrible. There is a huge separation between higher management, office staff and production staff which is trickling down and creating a pecking order. Upper management are so out of touch with the lives of employees, it makes you think that they don’t actually know what they’re paying you. Management will gaslight you when you raise an issue and tell you that the pressure is good and it fosters a healthy mental state. There is absolutely no employee appreciation, evidence of this would be that you’re not allowed to book holidays over Christmas, but they also won’t appreciate this hard work with a bonus or even just paying you for Christmas Day (forced to take it unpaid or use holidays). If you can find literally anywhere else to work, please do, because you will be expected to work unpaid overtime, weekends, holidays with not even so much as a thank you.
