We place a lot of trust and responsibility in our employees such as the flexible work schedule you mentioned. With that flexibility is also the empowerment to make decisions, though as a company grows the pressure of consensus decision making also grows which can slow down action to the point of inaction.
To that end, the more frequent communications with your line manager via AFDS should help address this, as the two of you build trust to the point where he/she feels comfortable to let you execute on a decision. If you do have additional suggestions on how we can improve trust within ARM, please do reach out to your People Team Business Partner!
