Pros
Good cafe, good location, free parking with EV charging, occasional product discounts.
Cons
I joined Ariat as a contractor with the understanding that the role would last 6–9 months. I was genuinely excited to contribute — the onboarding was intense, and I quickly got involved in training, cross-functional meetings, and operations. I regularly put in 10-hour days and was fully committed to delivering results.
However, just a month in, the company shifted priorities and abruptly ended my contract without any notice. This came as a shock, especially since I had declined a full-time offer and postponed a family commitment to honor my contract. A simple heads-up or professional courtesy would have gone a long way.
From my time there, I also noticed that full-time employees didn’t seem much happier. Many appeared overworked, underappreciated, and underpaid. The office lacked warmth, and collaboration across teams felt strained. Senior leaders often displayed tension in meetings — sometimes openly arguing — which created an uncomfortable and discouraging environment.
In short, the culture felt unstable and low on morale. For anyone considering a role here, especially as a contractor, I’d recommend proceeding with caution and ensuring expectations are clearly defined in writing.
