Pros

The staff discount and starting lay is just above minimum wage.

Cons

Training is a joke, you spend weeks taking exams and studying, watch films and risk getting fired if you do not pass. The roata was unbalanced and you where only given it the 3 days beforehand leaving you with no time to make plans. I was given my shifts in blocks of 3 hours, I lived in the next town and had to leave the house at 7am to be in work for 9 only to get home at 2pm. I frequently asked for longer shifts as I was wasting time and money coming in everyday for only 3 hours. I was ignored. Trying to get time off was a joke. Signing in and out by typing in your number was time consuming, a swipe card would have been better. To much pressure to achieve unattainable targets. I once got 3 people to sign for the Argos card during training only to be told they didn't count by the manager as they costumer didn't buy anything with it on the same day. Health and safety was a joke. I got my thumbs trapped it the ladders and no one else was around to help, my thumb got broken and it wasn't even written up. The headsets are an anexity inducing nightmare.
