Sourcing managers and other procurement resources work hard and most believe their actions are having a positive impact on company. Pay and benefits are competitive.
Cons
Directors have little if any experience working in a production environment and manage by spreadsheets without understanding the impact their contracts have on plants. No loyalty to suppliers, current directors are pushing buyers to buy for US from low cost countries. No loyalty to employees, management is quick lay off older employees to reduce pension obligations without consideration of performance
