The managers are racist still to this day. Hire people as managers/supervisors who are not familiar with HR practices who end up getting the company in legal trouble. Denied a black temp medical treatment now they are being sued. They also lie to you and tell you that you cannot apply for a job outside facility load, they tell you this when they don;t want you to leave. But our white counterparts are allowed to get jobs they didn't even apply for. However, the aformentioned practices are only in East Chicago. This behavior is not practiced in Burns Harbor, IN. My advice to potential employees is not to apply for a job in the Facility Load Dept in East Chicago apply at Burns Harbor.
