First off- I'm not really an employee- nobody working through a staffing agency really is. technically maybe, but they didn't hire me. the client did and I work for them. No pros, by the way.
Cons
Waste of time. Scammers. Here's the last 4 responses from Aquent I've received after applying for a job on their website: "Thank you for submitting your application. This position is no longer available. Although this particular job is closed, we will certainly consider you for other positions that match your qualifications. If you haven't already done so, please register at myAquent and set up job search agents to be notified of new career opportunities that match your skills and experience." Some of them were posted THAT DAY. regradless, all were open and accepting applicants. When you apply, though? You automatically get the above. Not to mention I HAVE registered, a long time ago, and always apply through the account. Would be nice if the auto-reply robot could at least figure that out. I'm highly qualified at what I do and have never even gotten an interview from the rare Aquent "job opportunities" that didn't elicit the above auto-reply. Considering the fact that it takes time and effort to apply to jobs, it's really not cool that they post non-existent jobs in order to boost their database. Don't waste your time with them like I have.
