Pros

Working from home was nice before they reduced it, tech reimbursement was nice before they took it away, health insurance was good before substantial premium increases. So many people quit so fast, so you can get fast promotions. I guess that’s a pro?

Cons

Leadership here is a total mess. Key members of leadership love to push their titles around which they are not qualified to have while ruling with an iron fist. After 2 solid tech managers quit within 6 months, all 3 departments now fall under 1 overworked person. “Battlefield promotions” is what we call it around here. Family employees are given preferential treatment, where regular employees would be fired if they made the same mistakes. Documentation of clients is a mess and makes daily work harder than it needs to be. Seems like there is always a fire drill due to poor planning. Company expects salary employees to work extra hours, but not allow any comp time during the week. PTO requests are always made to feel like the company is doing you a favor. Good employees here have left after short times when they realized that they were sales pitched during their interviews and promises never come true. Company moves the goal post on “RFD” bonuses (real f’ing dollar, how appropriate of the company to come up with this phrase). Company does not know how to stick to business deadlines. Company keeps selling to problematic clients because they can’t close sales deals on new quality clients. This causes a lot of internal stress. Layoffs are on the horizon so a lot of us are searching for new jobs. Office building parking is horrible, ants crawl over desks / kitchen area, cleaning crew doesn’t clean bathrooms well, and temperatures are kept cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Company can’t afford to run heat and AC?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your experience at Aqueity, we appreciate your feedback and are saddened that your experience wasn’t what you hoped it would be. We understand that leadership is a vital aspect of any organization and are committed to ensuring that our leaders are qualified and capable of managing their respective departments. We are also aware that documentation is an essential part of daily work, and we are committed to continuous improvement to make it more efficient. Related to the tech allowance program, the reviewer failed to mention Aqueity replaced this program with a more comprehensive benefits menu program which allows each team member to pick a plan that best fits their lifestyle. This program has been very well received by our team and the value of each of the benefit menu categories is 400% greater than the tech only program, and the new program still includes a tech allowance option. Aqueity takes tremendous pride in the cleanliness of our facilities and constantly receive positive feedback related to our office environment. We encourage anyone to stop by our office and see for themselves. As for HVAC, this is a struggle for any workplace, what is warm for one person is cold for another. Aqueity tries to maintain an office year-round temperature between 72-74 degrees. Aqueity’s culture is one of work hard and play hard, and our team loves hearing about experiences outside of work. We are sorry to hear the reviewer didn’t feel this, and their feedback gives Aqueity an opportunity to ensure others do not feel the same as this is counter to our culture. Aqueity offers an industry competitive PTO program and strongly encourages our team to take time off to enjoy life outside of work. We are committed to ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and with respect and dignity, and we take all feedback seriously and thank you for your contribution towards this goal.

Pros

I have worked at several MSP companies over the course of my career, and while every company has its issues, I do feel that Aqueity makes a genuine effort to make sure their staff is taken care of. There is a collaborative team culture, and people are always willing to help when needed. Leadership is approachable and available.

Cons

Some processes are still being developed and/or adjusted, so this can make task ownership unclear at times.

Pros

Just there for a paycheck

Cons

Horrible leadership team. There is no structure or clear direction, which makes it difficult for employees to succeed or feel confident in their roles. Expectations are constantly changing, and communication from management is inconsistent at best. It often feels like decisions are made without any real strategy or understanding of how they impact the team. There is little to no accountability at the leadership level, while employees are held to unrealistic standards. Support is minimal, and when issues are raised, they are either ignored or addressed far too late. This creates a frustrating work environment where problems continue to pile up instead of being resolved. Morale is low, and there is a noticeable disconnect between leadership and employees. Feedback is rarely taken seriously, and there is no real effort to improve processes or listen to concerns. Overall, the lack of organization, transparency, and leadership makes this a very challenging place to work.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While our perspective may differ in some areas and we are proud of our "Strong" eNPS score, we take comments like this seriously because individual employee experience matters deeply to us. Over the past year, Aqueity has gone through significant operational changes, including restructuring departments, refining leadership responsibilities, improving processes, and raising expectations across the organization. Periods of change can be challenging, and it's important that we communicate clearly and support employees throughout those transitions. We have focused on strengthening processes, communication, and operational effectiveness as we continue to grow. That said, your comments around communication, clarity, and consistency are important. No organization benefits when employees feel disconnected from leadership or uncertain about expectations. We recognize there are areas where we can continue improving, particularly around communication cadence, role clarity, and ensuring teams understand the “why” behind decisions. We also believe accountability should exist at every level of the company, leadership included. Our goal is to build a culture where feedback is heard, problems are addressed directly, and employees have the support needed to succeed. We operate in a high-performance environment with evolving expectations as we continue to grow and improve. However, we remain committed to building a stronger organization for our employees and our clients. We appreciate the feedback and wish you the best moving forward.
