Engineering Leadership Is Terrible - Senior Engineer Appspace Employee Review

We always value both positive and constructive feedback in reviews. Igloo was recently named as one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers so we will respectfully disagree with some assertions within your review 😊. Igloo has made changes in our engineering leadership team as we focus on significant projects this year and next. In order to meet very tight deadlines Igloo has focused on hiring employees directly as an Iglooite for our permanent roles and for those roles that are only temporary, we have seen great success using external firms to support our contract work. We are disappointed to hear that changes we made at Igloo have not aligned with your expectations, but our recent employee engagement survey, specifically within technology, yielded strong and positive results with a +4 out of 5 on overall engagement. These results are being reviewed in more detail with the team next week so we can identify more opportunities to continue making Igloo a great place to work.
