Pros
There were absolutely no pros to this waste of time. I was given a "pre-screening" phone call wherein I was asked the last time I was responsible for the performance of a group of individuals - this is what made me think I was actually interviewing for a management position, which I had applied for.
Cons
The position was advertised as "marketing manager" but what I found out (at the interview) that I was actually interviewing to be a grunt in "retail environments". I didn't apply to work retail! Also, I asked them if they were Apex Technology Group and was told they were Apex Marketing; "so many companies use Apex in their name" yet they posted from Apex Technology Group's account. Why the run-around? Furthermore, if the Apex name is as watered-down as the interviewer themselves said (it is) how would having the name Apex on my resume help me at all?
